THREAT
The vacant and tax-foreclosed Parsons Apartment House is part of the Ridgewood Local Historic District. The City put the building out for an RFP and selected a developer who failed to perform. The City took back the building and awarded it to a second developer, who decided not to move forward due to the worsening of the building’s condition and increased costs. This building, still owned by the City, has an active roof leak.
REUSE
This building is a great option for adaptive reuse.
